She Rises:
A Body Liberation and Self-Love Retreat for Women
This retreat is for the woman who is constantly carrying the weight of responsibility.
She shows up for her family, pours herself into her work, manages the endless to-do lists, and cares for everyone around her.
She is reliable, thoughtful, and generous, but sometimes in the process, she often loses sight of herself and feels disconnected from her own body.
This is for the woman whose needs often slip to the bottom of the never-ending to-do list.
If you feel ready to pause to hear your own voice again or long for a safe space to set down life's demands for just a moment, reconnect with your body, and remember what it feels like to choose yourself, this is for you.

Meet Jess Fry, LPC, ADHD-CCSP, CSTS
(she, her, hers)
Licensed Therapist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Body Confidence Coach and Educator

As a dedicated mental health therapist, Jess specializes in supporting women facing challenges related to eating disorders, body image distress, anxiety, and ADHD. Her approach empowers clients to embrace their true selves in a world that often undermines their worth. Jess meets with clients in person at her office in Ephrata, PA, and also offers telehealth services to residents in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, as a coach, she provides virtual support to clients worldwide, focusing on body acceptance and self-confidence.
Jess knows firsthand what it’s like to move through a world that constantly tells women (especially those in larger bodies) that they aren’t enough. For years, she struggled with low confidence, shaped by societal expectations, body dysmorphia, and the lasting impact of an eating disorder. But through deep healing, unlearning harmful messages, and reconnecting with her own worth, Jess has grown into the most confident and authentic version of herself.
Jess' work is rooted in compassion, body acceptance, social justice, and a fierce commitment to helping women reclaim their inherent worth. Through her coaching and counseling, she offers practical tools and heartfelt insights to help others rebuild confidence, honor their bodies, and reclaim their voice in a world that often tries to silence it.
Meet Taylor Warner
(she, her, hers)
Retreat Assistant

As a graduate of Lebanon Valley College (LVC) with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education, Taylor is passionate about helping others! Throughout most of her life, she was a student-athlete and you could find her as the soccer goalkeeper at LVC's Women's Soccer Team. In her free time she enjoys playing pickleball, taking walks with her husband and dogs and going to the gym. She has recently found a love and passion for making sourdough bread and enjoys any type of creative outlet.
Taylor previously taught Elementary and Middle School Special Education for five years and continues to follow her passion by working with adults with disabilities, and instructing driving lessons.
Taylor is the glue that holds together retreats and events at EmBODY. She is the first person you encounter when you check in, welcoming you with a warm smile that instantly helps you feel like you're exactly where you belong. Taylor plays a huge role in the day, taking care of a lot of behind-the-scenes details, capturing video of special moments and participating right along side each of us. These retreats simply would not be the same without her!
Meet Christian Fry
(he, him, his)
Retreat Assistant

When Christian asked Jess to marry him back in 2015, he knew he was also signing up to be a part of every adventure of hers along the way, both personal and professional. Christian is an Electrical Engineer by trade, hobby woodworker, all-around handyman and Jess's biggest supporter, which has proven to be more helpful than could ever be explained in a bio.
Christian is often doing all the heavy lifting, completing last-minute DIY projects and providing constant emotional support to ensure these retreats take place as smoothly as possible. He is the kindest, and most gentle man Jess has ever come across (and every woman who's met him verbally confirms her bias). You may see him finishing up final touches as you arrive, setting up the lunch table, or cleaning up at the end of each event. These retreats, and Jess, simply would not be the same without him.
