with Jenny Bones from Black Cat Yoga
Monday September 28th
7:30-8:45PM | $15/person
55 New Street | Ephrata, PA
A gentle and fully accessible practice of poses and flows, centering the connection of mind and body. All abilities welcome.

Movement is an integral part of healing and strengthening your relationship with your body. If you have a history of using exercise as a way to punish or change what your body looks like, this class will feel very different from that.
Together, we will experience an accessible and gentle way to connect with ourselves and our bodies in celebration of what our bodies can do.

Picture yourself in a fat-positive and body inclusive space surrounded by warm lighting and the soft glow of candles.
We'll enjoy a gentle flow that can be experienced on your mat, in a chair or a mix of the two, and end with a guided meditation and long savasana.
This yoga practice is open to all ages, genders, abilities, and economics.
If you would like to participate and are unable to pay the published ticket price, you can pay what you feel you can afford. No questions are asked. No proof of income required. Your payment status will remain private.
If you wish to use the sliding scale offer, please email Jess at jfry@embodyconfidencecounseling.org and we will make arrangements for you to attend the session.

Meet Jenny Bones
200HR E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, Certified Yoga for All Teacher, Tai Chi Easy Method Certified Community Practice Leader, and Owner of Black Cat Yoga

Black Cat Yoga was founded in 2021 as a response to a global pandemic. Jenny was feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world at the time, and decided that the best way she could help her community was to share her love of accessible yoga.
Originally a brick and mortar studio, BCY spent four years as a safe space for students to explore joyful movement. Now a nomadic studio of one, BCY is committed to offering yoga for everyBODY throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and globally via zoom.
Jenny began her teaching journey in 2018. She is a 200HR E-RYT with Yoga Alliance, a certified Yoga for All teacher, Tai Chi Easy Method Certified Community Practice Leader, and owner of Black Cat Yoga.
Jenny is a Fat, Queer, Body Positive Wellness Leader and forever student of all things. Jenny’s core beliefs center consent, accessibility, and trauma informed practices that promote self exploration and celebration.
Meet Jess Fry, LPC, ADHD-CCSP, CSTS
Licensed Therapist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Body Confidence Coach and Educator

Jess Fry is a licensed mental health therapist, coach, and the founder of EmBODY Confidence Counseling and Coaching. She specializes in supporting women navigate eating disorders, body image distress, anxiety, ADHD, and chronic self-criticism. Her work sits at the intersection of mental health, nervous system regulation, and body acceptance. Jess provides in-person therapy in Ephrata, PA, telehealth services throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and virtual coaching to clients worldwide.
Jess brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work. She knows firsthand what it is like to move through a world that constantly tells women, especially those in larger bodies, that they are too much, not enough, or in need of fixing. Her own healing journey includes recovery from an eating disorder, untangling body dysmorphia, and unlearning deeply ingrained cultural messages about worth, productivity, perfection and appearance. This embodied understanding allows her to guide others with nuance, safety, and deep compassion.
At the core of Jess’s work is the belief that true healing happens when people feel seen, regulated, and resourced rather than pushed or pathologized. Her approach is rooted in body acceptance, social justice, and a deep commitment to helping women reconnect with their inherent worth. Through counseling, coaching, and immersive experiences, Jess creates spaces where participants can slow down, listen inward, and practice caring for themselves in ways that are sustainable, affirming, and deeply human.
