When I was deep in my own struggles of disordered eating, I convinced myself for YEARS that “I wasn’t a breakfast person.” I ignored my body’s hunger cues long enough that my body eventually stopped providing them to me. She was exhausted and undernourished.
When I started healing my relationship with food, and slowly reintroducing breakfast, I could not believe the drastic change in energy I experienced. Not to mention how I stopped overeating later in the day because I was finally eating in the mornings.
